Every Work Item is backed by a branch that holds its changes. If a Work Item's branch has been closed or removed, restoring it brings those changes back so you can continue or re-review the work.
When to restore a branch
- A Work Item was closed but its change is needed again.
- You need to reopen work that was set aside.
- You want to recover the changes captured on the Work Item's branch.
What happens on restore
Serpent brings the Work Item's branch back into an active state with its committed changes intact, so you can pick the work up where it left off without recreating it by hand.
