Environment Hub
A Salesforce Labs app for connecting and managing multiple related orgs, sandboxes, Dev Hubs, and trial orgs, from a single hub org.
Definition
Environment Hub is a Salesforce Labs application that lets a central org, typically a production org or a dedicated admin org, create and manage connections to a set of related orgs: sandboxes, Dev Hubs, trial orgs, and partner or customer orgs. From the hub, an admin can log into any connected org without re-entering credentials and get a single inventory view of everything the organization has spun up over time. It predates most modern Salesforce DevOps platforms and is still used by some teams, particularly ISVs managing many customer or partner orgs, purely as an org directory and single sign-on convenience rather than a deployment tool. Our Salesforce DevOps guide covers where org inventory tooling like this fits alongside a release pipeline.
How it works in Serpent
Serpent gives every sandbox and scratch org a single dashboard the same way Environment Hub gives every connected org one, but ties it directly to task history, deployments, and version tracking instead of stopping at login access.
