Workspace Orgs

Connect Salesforce orgs at the workspace level so they can be shared across the projects that need them.

Workspace orgs are Salesforce environments connected at the workspace level rather than to a single project. Connecting an org once at the workspace lets the projects that need it reuse the same connection.

Open the Workspace Orgs list with the "Try it in Serpent" button above to connect and manage orgs shared across projects.

When to use workspace orgs

  • An org, such as a shared Dev Hub, is used by more than one project.
  • You want a single place to manage a widely used connection.
  • You would rather not re-connect the same org for every project.

Workspace vs project orgs

Workspace orgs are shared broadly; project orgs are scoped to one project. Use workspace orgs for environments many projects rely on and project orgs for ones a single project owns.
