Workspace orgs are Salesforce environments connected at the workspace level rather than to a single project. Connecting an org once at the workspace lets the projects that need it reuse the same connection.
When to use workspace orgs
- An org, such as a shared Dev Hub, is used by more than one project.
- You want a single place to manage a widely used connection.
- You would rather not re-connect the same org for every project.
